Eclipse Forum Europe

The "Eclipse Forum Europe" is the first European conference on Eclipse and Eclipse-based technologies – hosted the first time May 8 to 11, 2006. This conference offers lots of sessions, workshops, and keynotes treating all aspects of the Eclipse platform. It also gives the opportunity to get in touch with leading companies and their products in the Eclipse market as well as with globally renowned experts. The Eclipse Forum Europe will take place at the same time and in the same place as JAX and the Enterprise Architektur Konferenz.

Eclipse Magazin

As the first of its kind the "Eclipse Magazin" deals with the highly innovative and popular development environment Eclipse. The quarterly published magazine covers a broad range of vibrant Eclipse-based topics, such as Web Development, Testing, Application Lifecycle, and Rich Clients. The Eclipse Magazin also includes a unique "Plug-in Parade" in which experienced Eclipse consultants present their favourite plug-ins as well as hands-on tips and tricks to get the best out of the latest releases of the Eclipse Foundation. "My Personal Eclipse" is the rubric for skilled and renowned Eclipse professionals to explain their usage of Eclipse and to give expert tips. Each issue is accompanied by a CD-ROM full of various programming examples, tools, software, and plug-ins. Eclipse Magazin articles are in German.

eclipse-magazin.de is the Web presence of the Eclipse Magazin. It provides the German-speaking Eclipse Community with daily up-to-date news from the Eclipse environment. Also, you will find many online articles and reviews on Eclipse. The Eclipse Magazin Plug-in Collection gives an overview on the relevant Eclipse plug-ins and of course, there is an index of all Eclipse Magazin issues. Finally, eclipse-magazin.de presents discussion groups with help for developers’ problems.

Eclipse Magazine

The Eclipse Magazine will cover a broad range of vibrant Eclipse-based topics that encompass the entire software development lifecycle, offering in-depth examinations of Eclipse sub-projects, feature-rich case studies by cutting-edge Eclipse teams and users, and articles covering the entire application lifecycle using the Eclipse IDE and other code from the Eclipse Foundation, Eclipse-based tools and plug-ins for Eclipse. The magazine will also include a unique "Plug-in Parade" where expert Eclipse consultants present their favorite plug-ins, and provide hands-on tips and tricks to get the best out of the latest sub-projects of the Eclipse Foundation.

JAX Innovation Award

The "JAX Innovation Award" intends to honour and to recognize the most remarkable and outstanding European contributions in the world of Java and Eclipse. These contributions can include products, open source projects, ideas, concepts, publications, or groundbreaking technological innovations. The prize money, a whopping 20,000 Euro, is up for grabs. Software & Support Media aims at promoting and fostering European software development through this initiative, besides supporting innovations of European businesses and organizations.

JAX – Conference on Java, XML, Web Services

The "JAX – Confererence on Java, XML, Web Services" is one of the leading European IT conferences on Java and related enterprise technologies.
