Software & Support Verlag presents the annual Eclipse Forum Europe from 23 to 27 April 2007 in Wiesbaden, Germany. The conference devotes itself to all aspects of the Eclipse platform and the Eclipse ecosystem. For the second time Eclipse Forum Europe takes place in parallel to JAX, the leading European conference for Java, Enterprise Architectures and SOA.
Internationally renowned experts, consultants and spin doctors of the Eclipse community enrich the program with their knowledge, such as Wayne Beaton (Eclipse Evangelist), Mik Kersten (Head of the Eclipse Mylar project), Jochen Krause (Web Tools Project Management Committee), Jason Weathersby (Evangelist of the Reporting Software Eclipse BIRT). The conference communicates important strategic decision help and practical tips for projects for everyone working with Eclipse, i.e. software architects and developers, project managers, IT managers and tool developers. The program comprehends all relevant Eclipse technologies: Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP), Modeling, Embedded and Automotive. The attendees have the possibility to take full advantage of the offers of JAX and Enterprise Architektur Konferenz and may participate in all sessions for free.
On the conference’s exhibition the attendees have the chance to get informed on the latest market trends and the enterprise use of Eclipse. Software & Support Media expects more than 60 companies to participate in the exhibition. “The success of the Eclipse platform as a groundwork for technological and business development is based on the inventiveness and the immeasurable commitment of all members of the Eclipse ecosystem. We are happy to provide the vital community consisting of open source developers, the industry and users with a communication stage”, says Sebastian Meyen, the person in charge of the conference program and Editor in Chief of Eclipse Magazin.
